A NEW COMEDY SENSATION??? The Scottish know a thing or two about stand-up comedy. Stereotypically more renowned for transvestite tendencies, having a worse diet than anyone on the planet, even the starving, the worst musical instrument in the world, beautiful women, the worlds worst football league, eating deep fried bagpipes dipped in heroin whilst drinking the average European poof not just under the table but deeper, close to Australia. Not to mention a climate that forces the cattle to become hippies and refuse to cut their hair. Oh and thanks for the Banks!!!! Comedy is, lets say, in the genes. Through Edinburgh Fringe and now the Glasgow comedy festival, which is now the largest solely Stand up comedy festival in Europe, for 4 decades Scotland has been at the epicentre of a global English language comedy scene. It makes for a more comedy savvy crowd who from gig one, demand to be entertained!! From Frankie Boyle to practically any British prime minister to one of the greatest of them all, in Billy Connolly Scotland has consistently produced great comics again and again. So when the Scots get as excited about one of their own as much as they are with KEVIN BRIDGES you have to sit up and listen. At just 22 in 2009, despite the addition of about 15 extra shows, you could not get a sniff of a ticket for his highly acclaimed debut Edinburgh Fringe show. Appearances on Live at the Apollo, Michael Mc Intyres Roadshow, Mock the Week followed all leading to the recording of his first DVD in a 10,000 seater arena in Glasgow this May, still only 23!!!!! He is with the same management that has turned Mc Intyre into a super comic and we would confidently predict that this might be one of the last opportunities to catch him in a gig so small certainly in Spain. In Barcelona an extra show has been added to meet demand and we are experiencing the same rush for tickets so we will be introducing an all new ticketing system to adapt to the (lack of) seating in Sala Taboo, SEE BELOW Come check him out for yourself but the recommendation really is to KEVIN BRIDGES (SCOTLAND) PLAYS

NEW PRIORITY TICKETING SYSTEM FOR SALA TABOO!!!
As we have a limited amount of seating in Sala Taboo something we hope will develop with time but we want to be fair and ensure that we have the happiest possible crowd at our gigs so we are introducing a new booking and pricing system.
For each show in Sala Taboo we will put on Presale just 120 tickets which will become the priority tickets and have access to the room before anyone else at up until 7.45pm on each gig after which we will allow general admission. So if you buy a ticket in the presale and appear at the venue before 7.45pm you will be guaranteed a seat. If you come later, well.....
There is plenty of space beyond the 120 and we will be allowing admission to every show after all 7.45pm for a reduced price for standing room only. These tickets will only be available at the door on the night, but entrance is pretty much guaranteed. There is less issues with unrestricted viewing as before in Clamores and the shape of the room is making it a wonderful atmosphere for comedy as the comedian is wrapped in the crowd almost We hope this will improve the Giggling Guiri experience for everyone and let us know your feedback whether you think it is working or not.
