FIC BCN '13!! Hey GG massive, ComedyinSpain is back real soon with frankly our most exciting comedy project of them all Spain´s only truly international comedy festival. Its our 6th edition, wow! and we are fearlessly (or stupidly, let see) expanding the programme.We will have more shows outside Barcelona than ever before and most exciting of all we now present the only national amateur Stand Up comedy competition, the Funniest FICer.

TONY LAW - Maximum Nonsense'
This is the 1st show we pursued for FIC'13. We had Tony Law in Madrid in April 2012 and it was quite siimply the best feedback we have ever had on a Giggling Guiri show. This, his subsequent show Maximum Nonsense went on to get nominated for the main Edinburgh award and then in March this year it won 2 Chortle Awards. Tony Law and this show are quite literally the hottest property in comedy. This is one nugget of prophecy from that Madrid gig last May...'If you don't know the comedy of Tony Law yet then you're in for big, gratifying surprise, the man is genius, a megastar in the making...check him out, wherever and whenever you can! - Garrett Wall

HOWARD MARKS - AN EVENING WITH MR NICE - OCT 5 - 10pm
We are delighted to welcome back a bona fide cult icon! A man whose original autobiography, ‘Mr Nice’ sales are now in the millions worldwide and through subsequent books he has proven he is far from a one story pony… the legendary Howard Marks.
Howard sold out the last time he was here in 2010 and many people were left disappointed and left out of what was a memorable night with a remarkable man.

BCN'S FUNNIEST FICER 2013
Time to get off the barstool and up to the mic! Ultimately a competition to decide the Funniest FICer in Spain but first we search for Barcelona's best set.A process that will once again involve 3 qualification heats taking place in bars around the city throughout the festival. They will produce the 9 best sets for this final to create this great value nights entertainment, to produce the Funniest FICer in Barcelona. The winner will go forward to compete in the national final, a Comedy Classico where the BCN winner will go set to set to decide who is the funniest amateur Stand up in Spain as part of our Festival Gala bill.

LOGAN MURRAY WORKSHOP RETURNS 2 BCN
OK we have nothing more to say about the man who in 4 previous workshops we have hosted has left a direct living legacy in both Barcelona and Madrid's now vibrant and practically paralell amateur comedy scenes. It is something we are verry proud of at ComedyinSpain as we know the result and the catalyst this workshop brings every time. Comedy products can be a difficult thing to sell at times owing to the subjective nature of its appreciation but this is THE MOST GUARANTEED COMEDY PRODUCT WE HAVE EVER SOLD.
